Day 1 – Ahmedabad (Arrival)- Jamnagar – Dwarka
On arrival at Ahmedabad Railway station or Airport, our representative will meet and greet you and drive towards Dwarka. On the way, you will visit the beautiful Lakhota Lake (a tranquil lake flocked by 75 specis of birds every year), Lakhota Museum (displaying exhibits from the 18th and 19th century) and Bala Hanuman Temple at Jamnagar. Proceed further towards Dwarka, check in at the hotel and freshen up. Then attend the holy evening aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple before you retreat for the night back at the hotel.
Day 2 – Dwarka Full Day Sightseeing
After a filling breakfast, get ready for a full day tour around Dwarka. You will visit the famous Dwarkadhish Temple, Nageshwar Jyotirling, Gopi Talav, Bet Dwarka and Rukmini Temple. Dwarkadhish Temple or Jagat Mandir is a beautiful Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. The temple architecture is a splendid sight, with the limestone structures glistening under the sun, luring devotees from far and wide. Visit the Nageshwar Jyotirling (one of the 12 shrines of jyotirlinga as included in the Shiva Purana) and head to the beautiful Gopi Talav. Visit Bet Dwarka and Rukmini Temple as well for a spiritual experience. Then stay overnight in Dwarka.
Day 3 – Dwarka to Porbandar to Somnath
Have a refreshing breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Somnath. En-route, you will get to visit Kirti Mandir and Sudama Temple. Kirti Mandir is a beautiful temple that was formed in memory of Gandhiji and his wife. Furthermore, you will visit the sacred Sudama Temple, which is a structure dedicated to childhood friend of Lord Krishna Sudama. As you drive further and reach Somnath, go ahead and explore the famous Somnath Temple, Bhalka Tirth, Triveni Sangam and Gita Mandir Chopati. Somnath Temple is supposedly the first of the 12 jyotirlingas and a major pilgrimage site in Gujarat. Visit the sacred Triveni Sangam, where the rivers of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswathi come together and then head to Gita Mandir Chopati. After a wonderful day tour, rest the night away in Somnath.
Day 4 – Somnath to Virpur to Gondal to Ahmedabad
After a good breakfast, you will be travelling to Ahmedabad. En-route, visit Jalaram Temple at Virpur – a place famed as the birthplace of Saint Balaram Bapa. Jalaram Temple is a holy site dedicated to Saint Jalaram Bapa and houses a statue of him as well. At Gondal, witness the gorgeous architecture of Swaminarayan Temple and the ancient Naulakha Palace and proceed to Kankaria Lake, which is the second-largest lake of the city and a major tourist site. Also visit the fascinating Vintage Car museum and then drive to Ahmadabad. Then be dropped at Ahmedabad railway station or airport for your return journey.
